Laser hair removal cannot be performed within 15cm (six inches) of inflamed or infected skin, or skin with a rash.
Clients who are unshaven will need to be rescheduled. A rescheduling fee may apply.
The skin should be washed with soap and water prior to your appointment. Any visibly soiled area of the skin may be cleaned.
Do not apply body cream the day of your treatment and avoid alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxyl products (AHA/BHA), hydroquinone, retinols/retinoid, Tazorac, and Differin for 7 days before treatment.
Avoid UV exposure 7 days prior to your treatment.
Avoid chemical peels and other laser procedures in the same treatment area within 2 weeks prior and following your laser treatment.
Clients with abnormal lesions, moles, or spots on the area to be treated must first be examined and approved by their physician prior to scheduling.
Stop waxing, tweezing, and chemical epilation beginning 3 weeks prior to your appointment.
Clients using Accutane within the previous 6 months are not eligible for laser hair removal.
Do not perform exercise or activity that increases body temperature or blood pressure within 2 hours of your treatment time.
Laser hair cannot be performed on botox or filler treated areas within 2 weeks of the treatment.
It is strongly recommended not to wear high boots immediately after leg-related hair removal treatments.
